Frequently Asked Questions
What age is appropriate for Private Play?
At The Sand Place, we believe play should be accessible to everyone. We recognize that some families may have unique needs, so this activity is open to all ages to ensure everyone can participate comfortably and safely.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking 1 week in advance.
Can I bring my own sensory tools?
Absolutely! We encourage bringing familiar comfort items and sensory tools that help your child feel secure. We only ask that you do not bring any items with glitter. We like to keep our sand pristine for all guests!
What if my child needs a break during the session?
If your child needs to leave the Private Play area for any reason you will be allowed re-entry.
Why is this not available on the weekends?
Our private play room is also reserved for birthday parties, especially on weekends. Since we can only host one event at a time, availability may be limited. If you’re hoping to drop in, feel free to give us a call that morning—we’ll gladly let you know if the room is open for walk-ins and do our best to accommodate!
