Rake and Aerate the Sand
The entire sand pit is raked and turned over to aerate the sand from the bottom up. This breaks up compacted areas, redistributes the sand evenly, and ensures consistent texture throughout — exactly what kids love.
Sanitize Play Surfaces, Walls, and Tools
All sand tools — shovels, scoops, trucks, molds — are cleaned and sanitized. The pit walls, ledges, and surrounding surfaces are wiped down. High-touch areas throughout the facility receive full sanitization.
Inspect All Equipment
Every toy and tool is inspected for damage before being returned to the play area. Anything worn, cracked, or that could present a hazard is removed and replaced before the next session.
