The Sand Place: Where Kids Wonder

This was the absolute best place for my son's 2nd birthday! He started having fun the minute we arrived and was playing up until we left. All the kids at our party had a great time from ages 1 to 6. While playing, the 6 year old said he "could do this all day". Everything was clean and well taken care of. The party room was super cute and the staff was super helpful and easy to work with. It was a huge hit with all our friends. We'll definitely be coming back regularly!

We held my son’s Dirty Third-y birthday party here at the Sand Place. The experience was seamless, organized and most importantly, the facility was immaculate. I appreciated that small details were thought out by the folks at The Sand Place. I ordered the party favors that were offered and was delighted to have the task of assembling party favors for 10 kids taken off my plate! The staff was nice and accommodating. Overall, I was really pleased with everything!

This kids’ play area is very different from other places we’ve been to. It is extremely clean, well-organized, and has lots of toys for children to enjoy. It’s also not too crowded, which makes the experience much more comfortable. What I appreciate most is how clean and safe everything is—I feel very at ease letting my child play here. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and there is comfortable seating for parents, which is also kept very clean. Overall, this is a great, well-maintained, and family-friendly place. We will definitely come back and highly recommend it to other parents.

I recently visited The Sand Place with my child, and it was such a great experience. The construction-themed setup is adorable — tons of trucks, diggers, and toys that kept my kid engaged for a long time. What really stood out to me, though, was how clean and well-maintained everything felt. I’ve been to other indoor sand play places in the area, and this one was noticeably cleaner and more hygienic, which made me much more comfortable letting my child play freely. The climate-controlled environment is also a huge plus, especially during colder months or hot summer days when outdoor play isn’t ideal. I could also tell the owner is a mother herself — there’s a genuine warmth and attention to detail that shows she truly cares about kids and loves what she does. You can feel that thoughtfulness throughout the space, from the organization to the welcoming atmosphere. Overall, I’d absolutely recommend it to families with young children — it’s fun, unique, and refreshingly clean compared to similar spots nearby.

So happy to have The Sand Place in our neighborhood! It’s clean, safe, and filled with fun sand toys and construction vehicles. The staff was super friendly and attentive. It’s a perfect escape from the house for kids to explore and play when the weather is super hot or really cold. We’ll definitely be back but next time will dress the kids in pants WITHOUT pockets. 10/10 recommend! (Especially since the first two adults get to play for free! 😉)

The Sand Place was the perfect place for our son's 3-year birthday party! The staff had everything prepared, options for additional activities for the kids, and were very accommodating for our friends and family. The kids had a blast, as did the parents. We're excited to come back and play!

Last weekend I took my son here for the first time and he absolutely enjoyed his self. The staff that was on duty was awesome I didn't catch her name but she was very kind. Definitely recommend

Perfect place to bring my three year-old, he enjoyed the whole hour and a half that we were there! Pricing is really good for if you’re gonna stay longer than a half an hour. The Private room is really cool! It’s got its own private sandpit! My one suggestion is to get some cushions for the benches around the sand pit, because my bones were hurting sitting there for that long.

I had my son’s 2nd birthday party at “The Sand Place” & it was wonderful! The owner was communicative prior to the party & they were helpful day of making sure we had everything we needed. My kiddo & his friends had a blast playing in the sandboxes! We will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic time at my son’s 4th birthday party at The Sand Place! We rented out the whole place on a Friday night, which saved quite a bit of money. I’d recommend renting the whole place for a party unless you have a very small group. Leabeth, the owner, was extremely helpful with setup, cleanup, and making sure everything ran smoothly. It was a big plus that they supplied plates, napkins, forks, and some party favors for kids (construction hat, toy truck, stickers). Highly recommend The Sand Place for open play or a birthday party!

We just had my son’s 3rd birthday celebration at The Sand Place and it was awesome! The experience was really easy to book by calling. The owner stayed in contact with me in the weeks leading up to my little guy’s big day to ensure she had everything we needed. I loved that I could pick and choose some extra add ons like balloons and invites to take a few logistical tasks off my plate. Everything was set up in the party room for us prior to our arrival - all we had to do was bring in snacks, cake, and beverages. The kids had a great time! Highly recommend for parties! We’ll definitely be back to play in the near future.

Nothing but pure joy at the Sand Place! We checked it out over spring break and had the place to ourselves and decided to host our son’s 3rd birthday here. It was super clean, super fun, and perfect for the littles! Nothing but a truck lover’s dream birthday party. Included in the price for birthdays are plates, napkins, utensils and little toy truck souvenirs.

We need more play places in Aurora and The Sand Place is a great addition for the littles (7 and under). Lots of toys, clean sand, and great space for adults to chill. They have a private party room and the set up is super cute. An hour is plenty of time for a toddler.

We had our son’s 5th birthday at The Sand Place today. We had about 15 kiddos attend and everyone had a wonderful time. Julie and Leah, the staff members on site, were super nice and attentive. Leabeth, the owner, was also super responsive to all our questions over email and proactively reached out a week before to confirm final details to ensure smooth sailing day of. The kids’ favourite part of the party was the treasure hunt, where each kid got their own treasure map and got to dig up their own treasure box. It was a huge hit! Highly recommend adding the treasure hunt to a party! The space looked very clean and was all set up for us when we arrived. We booked the entire venue and also had use of the adjoining party room. The main sandbox seemed perfectly spacious for our party size. Kids loved the hard hats and toy construction vehicles provided by the venue. We loved celebrating our son’s birthday at The Sand Place and can’t wait to be back!

We’ve brought our boys here since it opened, and it has been one of their absolute favorite places to play! We’ve also hosted a private event here after hours for our community. We can’t say enough good things about The Sand Place- the staff is super friendly, the owners are awesome- the way they support and welcome our kiddos is great! Thanks for all you do for our community!

This is such a fun place for preschoolers! My granddaughter always has a great time. Thank you for providing a good place for kiddos to play. It’s such a nice change from the typical indoor play places.

Fun place to get to go and try out. Nothing like a giant sandbox on a cold, windy day. Place was clean, the sand is immaculate. Lots of toys to play with in the sand. My daughter had a blast. Good service. Ultimate challenge, try and dig to the bottom!

1st time here and my 2 year old had fun for a full hour. Sand is clean, lots of toys for all ages to play. Will be coming here frequently. Highly recommend.

My daughter loves it here! The sand is imported from the Bahamas which means it is silica-free, non-toxic, and allergen-free. The owner and employees are very kind and welcoming. On Tuesdays they do a treasure hunt where your child can dig for their own treasure which they get to keep! This is a really great place for young children and worth a visit.

Our new favorite spot for the kids! Our kids played non-stop for an hour while my husband and I got to enjoy our coffee without needing to chase after them in a big space. It's very clean, staff is wonderful and provides a break in the overstimulating and overcrowded play paces we usually visit. So glad we found this spot!

The sand was so soft and clean and my two year old had so much fun!! They offer lots of different sand toys for the kids to play with like dump trucks, excavators, shovels, buckets etc. highly recommend. We’ll be back soon!

Their communication was prompt and helpful, and all the party guests and families were so excited to have a new and fun-filled birthday activity. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the party decorations were so cute. I highly recommend purchasing the little construction vests so the kids can dress up. We had a great time!

Nice to have a close indoor place to play. We stayed for an hour which was plenty of time. Not as stimulating or diverse of an environment as some of the other indoor play spaces but that was a nice change of pace. Super nice staff. Would come back again for sure.

Good place to do something different with little ones. Has tables if you need to sit and give kiddos a snack and has restrooms. Would be nice if there were a few more toys to spark more creativity. An hour was right amount of time to play there.
