No! Parents and guardians are always free. You can sit back, relax, and watch the kids play without any extra charge.

The Sand Place is designed for children ages 0–12. Infants under 12 months are always free. Children 9 and older may find the space a bit small for them — please call ahead if you have a question about your specific child.

Walk-ins are welcome based on availability! However, weekend sessions fill up quickly. We strongly recommend reserving online, especially for Saturday and Sunday visits, to guarantee your spot.

Yes! The 2nd child pays a reduced rate ($18 for a 60-min session), and the 3rd+ child pays $16. Sibling discounts are applied automatically when siblings from the same household visit together.

You can cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before your session for a full refund. Within 24 hours, we can apply your payment as a credit toward a future visit, but we don't issue refunds.

For $60/month per child, members get unlimited 90-minute play sessions — no blackout dates, no visit caps. Members also receive $25–$50 off birthday party packages and access to member-only events. Learn more →

Absolutely not. Memberships are month-to-month and can be cancelled anytime with no penalty. There are no annual contracts or cancellation fees.

One membership covers one child for $60/month.

At the standard rate of $20/session, a membership ($60/month) pays for itself after just 3 visits. Any visit beyond that is essentially free. Families who come 4+ times per month save the most.

Yes! You're welcome to bring your own cake, cupcakes, and finger foods. Tables and plates are provided.

Weekend dates typically book up 4–6 weeks in advance, especially in spring and summer. Weekday parties can usually be booked with 2–3 weeks' notice. We recommend booking as early as possible to get your preferred date.

A $50 deposit is due when you book, and it goes toward your total party cost. If you cancel or reschedule at least 21 days before your event, you can use the deposit as in-store credit for up to 2 months from the cancellation date. If you cancel within 20 days of the party, the deposit is forfeited.

Yes! Active members save $25 on the Sandbox Party and $50 on the Full Venue Experience. Just mention your membership when you submit your inquiry.

Yes, The Sand Place stays open to the public during regular business hours. However, if you have booked a private after-hours event, you have exclusive use of the space!

We will reach out to you the week before the big day. We will ask for a guest count and send you a link to our waiver for your guests to sign. The final payment is due at the end of party.

Yes, waivers are required for all guests who are attending the party.

Unfortunately, not. Celebrations with food, cakes, cookies, or presents need a party reservation.

Yes, all guests must have a signed waiver on file before entering the play area. You can sign online before your visit to skip the line at check-in, or sign a paper waiver when you arrive. Waivers are on file for 12 months.

Comfortable clothes that can get sandy! We recommend against nice or dry-clean-only outfits. Kids play with bare feet.

Central to The Sand Place’s mission is its partnership with Calcean Minerals & Materials LLC, which supplies the facility with a truly unique material: oolitic aragonite sand, sustainably harvested from The Bahamas. Unlike ordinary sand, Calcean’s oolitic aragonite is silica-free, eliminating the health risks often associated with traditional play sand. It is also non-toxic, allergen-free, and safe for even the most sensitive individuals, making it an ideal choice for children, including those with special needs or sensory sensitivities.

Food and drinks must stay in the designated parent/seating area — not in the sand box. This keeps the sand clean for all guests. We have a small snack bar area with drinks and light snacks available for purchase.

Yes! Free parking is available directly in front of our building and in the adjacent lot.

Yes. Our facility is fully ADA accessible.

We ask that families with visibly sick children (fever, vomiting, active illness) stay home to protect all guests. If you need to reschedule due to illness, contact us and we'll apply your payment as a credit toward a future visit or reschedule your session.

Private Play is designed for any family who would benefit from a quieter, more controlled environment. This includes children with autism, sensory processing differences, ADHD, anxiety, or any child who simply thrives with fewer distractions. No diagnosis is required — if you feel this would serve your child better, it's available to you.

Private Play sessions are $100 for a 60-minute exclusive session for up to 4 children + caregivers. This includes full access to the private sand box for your family only, and if desired access to our main sandbox as well. Learn more →

Private Play sessions are primarily available Tuesday–Friday from 9AM–1PM, before our general public sessions begin. Weekend Private Play may be available based on scheduling — please contact us to inquire.
